Can You Keep Still

I am asking that question because I did not know if I could keep still and Reverence God all at the same time.  Just this weekend I was at a Worship Gathering and I was thoroughly blessed beyond what I have ever experience in my life.  We were instructed to be quiet before the LORD and let his spirit inhabit the sanctuary.  As we were quiet before the LORD and when the appointed time came to release  the prayers and worship, it was totally awesome, so I challenge you today to spend 15 minutes in silence before God, for the sole purpose of listening for his voice to receive instruction and then at the appointed time release the prayer and worship to him, and watch how the spirit of the LORD will move upon you.

Another area is giving God reverence.  When we walk into the sanctuary of the Almighty, no talking, laughing, or business transactions should be taking place.  There are ones that come into the sanctuary to talk to God and to give him respect.  Would you like someone to come into your home and disrespect it by interrupting your rest and treating your home as if it were not important.  The same way when we enter into the sanctuary of GOD we should come in with a quiet spirit, giving respect, honor and GLORY to the AMIGHTY GOD FOR HE IS WORTHY!!! HALLELUJAH!!!  Being in the sanctuary is not to discuss what you brought at the mall on the other day or look at my new shoes, it is to have a conversation with the FATHER, to let him know how much you love and adore him; to declare his wondrous works among the nations.  Always sending up a sweet smelling fragrance to him.  The next time you come into the Sanctuary of GOD, remember to come before him quiet with the expectation to hear from him and to receive instruction on how to minister to his people.

I would love your feed back on this topic,

Until the next time,

Maria
